After taking down the ball on Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's corner Cássio Pimenta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Idar Istad quite easily take care of the ball. Martin Rydland kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Idar Istad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Frederico França came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico França couldn't finish the play. Ke Chang Lin charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 32nd match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Negri to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Idar Istad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 minutes Daustad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Pimenta who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 45 minutes, Frederico França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alfons Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Karim Bado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Negri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Alfons Arvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karim Bado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederico França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Idar Istad having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico França in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Idar Istad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Idar Istad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico França in the 73rd minute. Sidnei Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Idar Istad made a huge save. Idar Istad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
