Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Donato Ali successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Facundo Bot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Schuster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cássio Gonçalves took the corner. In the 57th minute, Iustin Bâru made a precise shot to the right of Donato Ali. Schuster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The Go Ahead Eagles players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
