Spectators: 487 (Terracing: 366, Seating: 112, VIP seats: 9) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gino Galante made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ got control of the ball when Ubarna Harroyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR's attentive Hami Şahistan managed to snatch the ball when Ali Kağan Özpulat made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. After having played for 11 minutes, Naim Süleymanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naim Süleymanoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Creemers in the 12th minute of the match. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was a little too slow when Recep Talha Kutyan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jan-Åke Emander came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Naim Süleymanoğlu. But to his dismay, Naim Süleymanoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jan-Åke Emander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naim Süleymanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Naim Süleymanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Emander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubarna Harroyo in the 38th minute. Naim Süleymanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Talha Kutyan in the 43rd minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in The Owls's zone, Naim Süleymanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Emander came out of the goal and Naim Süleymanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubarna Harroyo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The audience was convinced that Naim Süleymanoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Emander was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, KOCAELİSPOR's Naim Süleymanoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Seyfullah Tuğsavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jan-Åke Emander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Boğaçhan Tanır replaced Hami Şahistan. In the 61st minute of the game A.J. Bufi made a throw-in which Cristian Furdui played forward. 62 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when William Creemers came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Talha Kutyan in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of The Owls booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafet Hazin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Percha in the 76th minute of the match. If Aykut Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute William Creemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Robert Percha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Åke Emander. Robert Percha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. A collision led to KOCAELİSPOR getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Robert Percha hit a great ball.
