With a little luck, Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho got control of the ball when Stacey Banning tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th match minute, River tu grato nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Chodzinski to maneuver through the defense. Stacey Banning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. River tu grato nombre's Eulalio Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Ambjörnsson in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stacey Banning to strike the kick off in the second half. Pepe Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacey Banning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Challestone S.C.'s Yan Yuan got a free kick in the 94th minute. The throw-in from Marlin Dawson in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Challestone S.C.'s Selmi Uğurcan. For all the effort they put into the match, the Challestone S.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River tu grato nombre.
