A sloppy throw-in by Marlin Dawson in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Challestone S.C.'s Edwin Tenorio. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Felix Wedemeyer got a free kick in the 9th minute. Mark Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eulalio Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Mel in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stacey Banning in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Pancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eulalio Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Mark Ambjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Francesco was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Mark Ambjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Francesco having to interfere. Gregorio Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gregorio Mel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Challestone S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Mel couldn't finish the play.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Gregorio Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River tu grato nombre's Eulalio Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Challestone S.C.'s Eulalio Francesco threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gregorio Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pepe Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stacey Banning in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Mark Ambjörnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River tu grato nombre's Eulalio Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mark Ambjörnsson sped through River tu grato nombre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eulalio Francesco. Challestone S.C. made a substitution. Selmi Uğurcan replaced Gregorio Mel. 77 minutes into the match, River tu grato nombre's Stacey Banning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Pancho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, River tu grato nombre's Tadeusz Chodzinski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Eulalio Francesco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Ambjörnsson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Eulalio Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Ambjörnsson in the 88th minute. Despite being the better team, Challestone S.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
