Wilfredo Nikola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Luis Täger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teofilo Oxarra hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wojciech Krzynowek struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Petras Anusauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parque Europa FC. In the 15th minute of the match, Wilfredo Nikola got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luis Täger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aureliano Negro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Täger having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Wilfredo Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Täger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Winter to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Parque Europa FC's Emanuel Löfkvist got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Parque Europa FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Parque Europa FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Aureliano Soto replaced Froilan Reyes. After having played for 80 minutes, Godfredo Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Godfredo Nuñez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute Aureliano Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petras Anusauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Castro came free, but Petras Anusauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petras Anusauskas having to interfere.

The Parque Europa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Parque Europa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
