AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Haimar ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Haimar in the 70th minute of play forced AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pascual Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Bermudez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Haimar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Flavio Gonchan got a free kick in the 79th minute. La Gallardeta's Oliver Can played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Fraga in the 86th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Gallardeta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
