Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Răzvan Spineanu started the match with the kick off. Karol Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge-Luis Borges in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Pires came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Penuel Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Chiriacescu took the corner. The corner led to RED BLUE STAR's Leszek Ferfecki getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Epifanio Gabrio was a little too slow when Dumitru Chiriacescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 13th minute Eduardo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Pires came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Dumitru Chiriacescu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Răzvan Spineanu in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanio Gabrio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges got a free kick in the 20th minute. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Pires in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Pierz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Bartoleme Villasante got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Răzvan Spineanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner. Dumitru Chiriacescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Spineanu got free with Epifanio Gabrio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Epifanio Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Spineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 44th minute, Eduardo Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karol Pierz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge-Luis Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge-Luis Borges. Cordara Creus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Chiriacescu in the 61st minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meldris Ruckanovs in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, RED BLUE STAR's Meldris Ruckanovs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Furtado Ozaolaza replaced Chen Shi Ran. In the 74th minute Penuel Football Club were awarded a corner. Jorge-Luis Borges went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jorge-Luis Borges almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RED BLUE STAR's Karol Pierz did a great save. In the 75th minute Dumitru Chiriacescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Corderall Nieves hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Penuel Football Club's zone, Dumitru Chiriacescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Gabrio came out of the goal and Dumitru Chiriacescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Chiriacescu in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Epifanio Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Lupescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karol Pierz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Jorge-Luis Borges. But to his dismay, Jorge-Luis Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
