Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nando Pereira started the match with the kick off. Dumitru Chiriacescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Epifanio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Chiriacescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute of the match RED BLUE STAR got a corner. Penuel Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Chiriacescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 9th minute of the match. Epifanio Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Spineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes Penuel Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dumitru Chiriacescu who took care of the corner kick. 姚然军 struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Epifanio Gabrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. Karol Pierz made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nando Pereira sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Răzvan Spineanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED BLUE STAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Spineanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Gabrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Penuel Football Club's attentive Ludwig Bergqvist managed to snatch the ball when Meldris Ruckanovs made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Meldris Ruckanovs got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dumitru Chiriacescu. Epifanio Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Spineanu in the 23rd minute of the match. When Dumitru Chiriacescu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the RED BLUE STAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Chiriacescu couldn't finish the play. Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Chiriacescu in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Răzvan Spineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karol Pierz. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Răzvan Spineanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Epifanio Gabrio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Epifanio Gabrio made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Dumitru Chiriacescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute RED BLUE STAR were awarded a corner. Dumitru Chiriacescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Dumitru Chiriacescu made a great header on RED BLUE STAR's corner, it was just that Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio managed to reach the ball for a save. Epifanio Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 姚然军, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Meldris Ruckanovs with Dumitru Chiriacescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Penuel Football Club's Eduardo Pires in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED BLUE STAR's goalie prevented a goal. Karol Pierz came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Luis Miguel. But to his dismay, Luis Miguel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Miguel came free, but Karol Pierz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karol Pierz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Penuel Football Club's zone, Dumitru Chiriacescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Gabrio came out of the goal and Dumitru Chiriacescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge-Luis Borges in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Pierz saved RED BLUE STAR from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Namık Kemal Korur in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Gabrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Eduardo Pires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karol Pierz. RED BLUE STAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Pires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Penuel Football Club had won after a very even match.
