Leonardo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Garchofila FC's Anko Anko got control of the ball when Leonardo Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Tipi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Anko Anko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Tigres. Anko Anko made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Leonardo Tipi sent off a good shot on target. Anko Anko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Estevez in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Garchofila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Tipi got free with Anko Anko in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Cornelio Hernandez with Adrian Pătrășcanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Leonardo Tipi. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Tasso in the 55th minute of the match. Anko Anko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Berbiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonzo Maradona came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Berbiz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 97th minute of play forced Garchofila FC's goalkeeper Anko Anko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
