After 18 minutes, Maximiliano Estebano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos Del Pellegrini and the TİGANAFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Epifanio Evis, was totally fooled by TİGANAFC's François-Xavier Grélet, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Elpidio Gartzen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roman Trochet in the 24 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Erramu in the 31st minute of play forced Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's goalkeeper Epifanio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Augusto Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when François-Xavier Grélet got free with Epifanio Evis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes TİGANAFC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Trochet. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Pirro was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Cristian Pirro from a close distance when the talented Melvin Rodde managed to make a qualified save. TİGANAFC's players were relieved. 53 minutes into the match, Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Cristian Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melvin Rodde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto Pinheiro got free with Melvin Rodde in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Epifanio Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Erramu in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto Pinheiro got free with Melvin Rodde in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Pirro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melvin Rodde, 1-2. In the 71st minute of the match, Stefan Niedbalski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Melvin Rodde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. TİGANAFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Carlos Augusto Pinheiro scored to the left of an out of position Melvin Rodde, making the score, 1-3. When Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Cristian Pirro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Augusto Pinheiro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cristian Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
