Jan Tomaszewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olympique Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio-Roman Zabaleta in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Tirso Isasaga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski did a great save. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 14th minute of play. Jan Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Domeracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganga Banga in the 23rd minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Ostrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Czempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ganga Banga in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Ostrowski saved Olympique Gdynia from getting behind. Tanek Ostrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ganga Banga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Leszek Falke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tanek Ostrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislav Abovský kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Zielonka Gdansk from getting a goal against them. Jan Tomaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Domeracki in the 40th minute of the match. Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Zielonka Gdansk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fabio-Roman Zabaleta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Tomaszewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Domeracki was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Domeracki in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Tomaszewski saved Zielonka Gdansk from getting behind. When Olympique Gdynia's Czeslaw Domeracki in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zielonka Gdansk's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Domeracki in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Tomaszewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyprian Sitko came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tanek Ostrowski could save by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Ganga Banga came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Falke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Olympique Gdynia fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Olympique Gdynia's Czeslaw Domeracki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Şota Arveladze came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Czempa came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Domeracki came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
