Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şota Arveladze in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Noam Chomsky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Isias in the 7th minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Uriel Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Olympique Gdynia's Tirso Isasaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Isias. In the 25th minute Tirso Isasaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Ostrowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isias in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 60th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tirso Isasaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lázaro Colon was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. Jerzy Piszczor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Frasco came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Frasco in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Ostrowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Juniors FC and the Olympique Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Lepper hit a great ball. If Enrique Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Colon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Olympique Gdynia played a much better game than Juniors FC and deserved their victory. The Juniors FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
