If Leandro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 10th minute of play. Mitchel Dijkstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Urdaspal in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Urdaspal came free, but Mitchel Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens van Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julian Elizardo. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Fc Benefica's David Wilmink managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basilio Gonzalez in the 28 minute of the game. In the 29th minute of the game Ziemowit Zuraw made a throw-in which Basilio Gonzalez played forward. Ziemowit Zuraw hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Julian Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Elizardo. Low Cost FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Denis Beremundo replaced Humberto Jonge. Jens van Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Elizardo having to interfere. Damien Bakker's late challenge caught a Low Cost FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damien Bakker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Damien Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens van Basten in the 87th minute of play. Julian Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Soares went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Low Cost FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Benefica.
