Low Cost FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th minute, Enrique Cassaretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 20th minute of play forced Low Cost FC's goalkeeper Julian Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Low Cost FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Low Cost FC's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Elizardo came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Urdaspal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Zuraw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Low Cost FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Low Cost FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Zuraw to maneuver through the defense. Low Cost FC made a substitution. Elvio Sanson replaced Ziemowit Zuraw. After 41 played minutes Low Cost FC got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Zuraw. Julian Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 45th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Veremundo made a kick off. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Elizardo having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Cassaretto got free with Julian Elizardo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. George Forsyth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Low Cost FC's Julian Elizardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Low Cost FC from getting a goal against them. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Urdaspal in the 67th minute of play. Fermin Urdaspal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Cassarettos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Julian Elizardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Sanson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julian Elizardo, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julian Elizardo. That made the score 0-3 after 83 minutes of play. The CD Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Blas Araoz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Julian Elizardo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aureliano Buendia. The Low Cost FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Municipal's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Municipal.
