The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Leobardo Radaban a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Leobardo Radaban got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 18 played minutes Aversa got a freekick which was hit by Damiano De Zorzi. After 20 played minutes Red Hawk Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Fix Romero. Dave Bassani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Camacho went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dave Bassani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Camacho in the 30th minute of play. Asteri Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Carrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramón Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Eli Griego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aversa's Dave Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Sancho in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Camacho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Leobardo Radaban came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Red Hawk Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leobardo Radaban couldn't finish the play. Asteri Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Carrea in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Aversa's goal looked a bit too open when Leobardo Radaban came free, but Dave Bassani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ramón Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Omar Sancho got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Aversa's Francesco Gallucci in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Asteri Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aversa.

The Aversa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Hawk Football Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Hawk Football Club.
