Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Ice-Cream Guobadia in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Wieberneit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Paziorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vasco Rovira made a huge save. When Deportivo Ortegano's Aztore Cobian in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vasco Rovira. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Vasco Rovira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Schaffert, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sagrario Meldasgoas scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Wieberneit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Michael Paziorek got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Kevin Meißel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sotero Besga was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Academica Pulheim's Dariusz Wieberneit got control of the ball when Serafino Berria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sotero Besga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Berria. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Barnabas Rogge replaced Christoph Sönksen. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Samano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Noel Schaffert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Rovira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Berria struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Dariusz Wieberneit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ortegano. 80 minutes into the match, Serafino Berria notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Academica Pulheim's Dariusz Wieberneit. Dariusz Wieberneit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Aztore Cobian got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Sotero Besga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Noel Schaffert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aztore Cobian struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dariusz Wieberneit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Ortegano.
