In the 4th minute of the match, Jacinto de Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavio Lauaxeta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patrick Cardozo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flor Petera's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Abelardo Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Lauaxeta. Abelardo Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 24 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Flor Petera. Patrick Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Belasko in the 31st minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Mouricio came free, but Patrick Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Lauaxeta having to interfere. In the 40th minute Sílvio Luiz do Vale suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 40 minutes, Segundo Neron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The Simbo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Simbo FC's Tami Pettinato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Cardozo. Patrick Cardozo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4.

Simbo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
