A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ionuț Măcriș hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Măcriș. Aron Neculce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doug Las Casas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute 王 江志锋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Neculce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pajala Sunrise's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Lindman in the 21st minute. The corner led Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman to fire away a dangerous shot which Aron Neculce despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Horea Zâncă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's David Lindman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cholachat Coolcat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Zogreanu in the 30th minute of the match. Aurelian Zogreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cholachat Coolcat having to interfere. If Sol Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Iván Zamorano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelian Zogreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Juninho Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 王 江志锋 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aron Neculce made a huge save. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Zamorano in the 64th minute of play. Pajala Sunrise's Roger Heggert was substituted for Doug Las Casas. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Friberger struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Aron Neculce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pajala Sunrise. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Odén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cholachat Coolcat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Zamorano in the 84th minute of the match. Pajala Sunrise's attentive Karl-Oskar Högman managed to snatch the ball when Pavel Teaşcă made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Pajala Sunrise's Johannes Friberger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Johannes Friberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The Pajala Sunrise players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
