Maxime Péron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Hydén in the 3rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Maxime Péron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th minute Paulo Louineau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bai Jian Ao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Văn 吕布 could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Maxime Péron however easily saved by the left post. Văn 吕布 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. 20 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Buba came free, but Maxime Péron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stakbröte booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Miguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Sverker Hydén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maxime Péron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ruslan Bumbac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Ruslan Bumbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Péron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sverker Hydén in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Péron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Terry Sauvestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bai Jian Ao was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Sverker Hydén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maxime Péron. Sverker Hydén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 43 played minutes, Stakbröte's Sverker Hydén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxime Péron came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stakbröte reached it. With a little luck, Cats and dogs's Maxime Péron got control of the ball when Văn 吕布 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Sverker Hydén lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Maxime Péron. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sverker Hydén was the one to do the kick off. Maxime Péron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Hydén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Péron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Bumbac in the 58th minute of the match. Maxime Péron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Văn 吕布, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Maxime Péron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Buba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Péron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Hydén in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stakbröte's goalkeeper Bai Jian Ao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Aaron Buba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Péron. Cats and dogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Buba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Stakbröte's Romeo Beckham Jr was substituted for Văn 吕布. Maxime Péron came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stakbröte's Tage Eklund. But to his dismay, Tage Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Maxime Péron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Paulo Louineau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cats and dogs and the Stakbröte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Louineau. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stakbröte had played much better football throughout.
