They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Wellington Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Suárez in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd play minute Daniel Carvalho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejandro Jerano. 1-3. Lautaro Suárez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wellington Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinamo Colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Santana to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Suárez came free, but Wellington Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dinamo Colorado supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dinamo Colorado would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
