Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Jaizki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Senin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Berdaitz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Caradaro in the 18th minute of play forced Forever Tango's goalkeeper Albino Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Senio in the 34th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gualterio Mikolas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Marcial Uzuri sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Mikolas in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Senio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Forever Tango fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
