Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Lucero in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Lucero in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lucero came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Niculae Martinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Oktay Eğriöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Oktay Eğriöz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Lopes was the one to do the kick off. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lucero in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lopes. Paso FC's Denis Rivas was substituted for Oktay Eğriöz. In the 56th minute, Roberto Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Teo Cresitobalo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. After having played for 70 minutes, Roberto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Denis Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roberto Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Denis Rivas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Chico Donato to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Paso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambe Verga didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mira Pene. Paso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
