In the 13th minute of the match, Martin Mutumba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Donato saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chico Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Mutumba's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Berart was slow to take the kick. During this time Vykans Vikingar's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalie and right to Hugo Eden. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Leonardo Trancoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chico Donato was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hermansson in the 21st minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilton do Valle lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DIPLOMATA FC PAB! When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Vykans Vikingar's Jose Indalecio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chico Donato. Börje Stål made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Eliézer Alvarenga. José Augusto Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. In the 46th minute Martin Mutumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivier Gilg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcus Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Martin Mutumba made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Augusto Lara who took care of the corner kick. Olivier Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's José Augusto Lara. But to his dismay, José Augusto Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's attentive Niculae Martinescu managed to snatch the ball when Börje Stål made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Hermansson in the 70th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 75th minute of play. Tage Glanselius hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund scored 3-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chico Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hílton Souza hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
