Aurelio Walme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 13th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Owsiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Israel Vidal. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme got control of the ball when Marcos Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Malm came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Siqueira was slow to take the kick. During this time Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marcos Siqueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme did a great save. Di Yang Feng who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Walme when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

In the last second Amauri Félix throw himself and got hold of the ball when Daniel Owsiak in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A sloppy throw-in by Ricardinho de Senna in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Israel Vidal. 69 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Owsiak came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amauri Félix had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Daniel Owsiak from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 77th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan was substituted for Marcos Siqueira. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Malm notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme. Aurelio Walme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
