After 6 minutes of play, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Wagner Kill made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hansjörg Wastl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wagner Kill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. Henrique Borges succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 13th playminute. If Henrique Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Henrique Borges sent off a good shot on target. When Edu Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Wagner Kill took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hansjörg Wastl. Hansjörg Wastl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Henrique Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grzegorz Szamotulski came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrique Borges slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wagner Kill made a kick off. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Pedro Geromel hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Paolo Argi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Gaston Bingen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Naldo Valladares hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Benicio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Diablofaryd F.C. booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiel Desmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiel Desmet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Edu Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski. Diablofaryd F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 78th minute Luís Fabiano Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiel Desmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Diablofaryd F.C. defense, Emiel Desmet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grzegorz Szamotulski. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Szamotulski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 85th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 95 played minutes, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Benicio Maurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hansjörg Wastl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diablofaryd F.C. reached it. There was no doubt that Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were the better team. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
