Tomás Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Minuano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Richard Marques was slow to take the kick. During this time Hartmann Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Wesley de Brito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Renato Velloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 37 minutes of play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Wilian Corrêa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Renato Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Souza came free, but Paulo Renato Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Monteiro in the 46th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Cesinha Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Dionísio to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Souza made a kick off. The Atlético Minuano fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Atlético Minuano's Romário Monteiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 61 minutes in the game Olavo de Toledo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abelardo Ribeiro. Tomás Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Hugo Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cesinha Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Romário Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 96th minute, Jardel Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesinha Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Minuano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
