Galera's Tarcisio Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Salgado in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th minute, E.C. Galera's Sidney Vaz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sidney Vaz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E.C. Galera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sidney Vaz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 4 minutes into the game, one of E.C. Galera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute of the game, BEST FABIO F.C. got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Elano Pernambucano took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Botelho. Tarcisio Botelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. E.C. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Munhoz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when E.C. Galera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Vitório Araújo got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Ronaldão Salgado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tarcisio Botelho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute, Adrianinho Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Adrianinho Cordeiro. BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 31st minute, Daho Rego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Cordeiro having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Cordeiro. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrianinho Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Paulo Bastos got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 51 played minutes, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Elano Pernambucano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tarcisio Botelho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BEST FABIO F.C. reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Sarmento got free with Adrianinho Cordeiro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrianinho Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrianinho Sarmentos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Adrianinho Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 87 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gozie Buseth. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C. Galera's Vitório Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrianinho Cordeiro. That made the score 2-4 after 88 minutes of play. The E.C. Galera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
