Aílton Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Donato having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Lino Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ROSÁRIO SPORT! João Carlos Oliveira was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Anísio Paiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anísio Paiva really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Meireles hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Guto Alves made a great header on Atlético São Sebastião's corner, it was just that ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira managed to reach the ball for a save. Aílton Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but João Pedro Donato made a huge save. After 70 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Seco. For all the effort they put into the match, the ROSÁRIO SPORT players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético São Sebastião.
