In the 19th minute, Natã Carioca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alberto Palmeira. The goal made the score 1-1. Lucas Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juca Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jurassic Monsters SA's Lucas Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Seco in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Jurassic Monsters SA's Natã Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Palmeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jurassic Monsters SA were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Bandelocos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Caco da Rocha took the corner. Jurassic Monsters SA's Caco da Rocha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alberto Palmeira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 35 minutes of play, Bandelocos's Eliseu Guerra made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juca Bala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Jorge Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Pirani having to make a save. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ramiro Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Juca Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juca Bala to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Giovani de Salles got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's José Paulo Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Haroldo Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandelocos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurassic Monsters SA the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Seco got free with Lucas Pirani in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bandelocos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Paulo Severo scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juca Bala's late challenge caught a Jurassic Monsters SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
