After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Lúcio Dionísio got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Compugraf defense, Lino Zonta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Fernandez. The Compugraf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Fernandez should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Márcio Domingues made a precise shot to the right of João Carlos Oliveira. ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Enio Fonseca took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Carlos Oliveira. João Carlos Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 22nd minute, Compugraf's Rui Magalhães seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rui Magalhães the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Compugraf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rui Magalhães had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rui Magalhães hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Compugraf's Chico Fernandez got control of the ball when Aílton Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Seco got free with Chico Fernandez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilton Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Oliveira having to interfere. Márcio Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Compugraf getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Márcio Domingues hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Lúcio Dionísio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ROSÁRIO SPORT reached it. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enio Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Zonta hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Seco to maneuver through the defense. When Enio Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Compugraf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Márcio Domingues rounded ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. In the 70th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Travassos to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Wilton Camargo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira. João Carlos Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, João Carlos Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Wellington Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Compugraf's Toninho Costa was substituted for Kiko Travassos. Compugraf's Chico Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Gerber in the 91st minute of play. João Carlos Oliveira was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and João Carlos Bezerra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Carlos Bezerra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. The ROSÁRIO SPORT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Compugraf's performance. The match ended with a win for Compugraf.
