The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Camargo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enio Fonseca made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Enio Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Compugraf's supporters rose to their feet, but Enio Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Engenheiros da Vila's Sílvio Luís Vargas got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Arruda notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Compugraf's Chico Fernandez. Chico Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kléberson Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
