Cesinha Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes of play, E.C. Galera's Silvério Munhoz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesinha Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in E.C. Galera's zone, Richard Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Botelho came out of the goal and Richard Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tarcisio Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesinha Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Munhoz in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Leonardo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Araújo's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Cesinha Tande - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Fellipe Favoretto made a precise shot to the right of Cesinha Tande. Hartmann Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Deivid de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Luz. Virgílio Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cesinha Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deivid de Sousa was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Favoretto came free, but Cesinha Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deivid de Sousa got free with Cesinha Tande in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. E.C. Galera's Silvério Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 66th minute of the match Leonardo Luz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leonardo Luz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Hartmann Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leonardo Luz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Lago in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesinha Tande saved Hartmann Futebol Clube from getting behind. Cesinha Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Favoretto in the 73rd minute. Cesinha Tande made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Silvério Munhoz sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Cesinha Tande got control of the ball when Carlinhos de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line.
