In the 9th minute, SC Braga's Hugo Pinheiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hugo Pinheiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Braga protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hugo Pinheiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, Hugo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Luís Eduardo Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Rodolfo Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octávio Moita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A hard shot 21 in the game by Luís Eduardo Figueiredo from a close distance when the talented Octávio Moita managed to make a qualified save. SC Braga's players were relieved. Luís Eduardo Figueiredo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Octávio Moita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Álvaro Malheiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Braga's goalkeeper Octávio Moita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Internazionale-RS fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Internazionale-RS's Rodolfo Pontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 69 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Calado. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Figueiredo hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Internazionale-RS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
