Queluzito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Braga the free kick. Aírton de Amaral hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octávio Moita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Queluzito's Percy Cabral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octávio Moita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, Aírton de Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octávio Moita. Percy Cabral made a great header on Queluzito's corner, it was just that SC Braga's Octávio Moita managed to reach the ball for a save. Queluzito's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
