Juventudes Libertárias's Diamantino Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renatinho Maranhense's late challenge caught a Grêmio RK75's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Renatinho Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Martín Braithwaite 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 20th minute, Paulo Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dedê Trigo. The goal made the score 2-0. After 28 played minutes Juventudes Libertárias got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Maranhense. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when Grêmio RK75 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Paulo Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

In the 68th minute, Emílio Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dedê Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Nunes in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's Paulo Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedê Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Nunes took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedê Trigo. Dedê Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Alexandre Zurawski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Grêmio RK75 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
