Filipe Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Costa. If Robinho Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Denílson Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denílson Cearense to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Jorginho Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Soares in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ronaldinho de Amaral hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Soares in the 70th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper César Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Tavares having to interfere. César Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Magalhães in the 75th minute of the match. Filipe Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Rosado in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Teodoro Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Guerra. 80 minutes into the match, Jorginho Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Tavares. LOBO 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. César Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho de Amaral in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rony de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOBO 1908's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. After 87 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Rony de Sousa. In the 90th match minute, LOBO 1908 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Tavares having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Soares came free, but César Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
