Gianluigi Donnarumma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 5 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Moraes. In the 6th minute Leopoldo Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Sanches came free, but Willian da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Sanches in the 12th minute of the match. Jardel Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. In the 16th minute Jardel Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Ladislao Mazurkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Agroboys SM - CIMZ defense, Décio Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian da Costa. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian da Costa should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Leopoldo Sanches sped through Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willian da Costa. Tião de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paulinho Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Moraes in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Leopoldo Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Willian da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 58th minute. A collision led to Agroboys SM - CIMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Paulinho Moraes hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Leopoldo Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Iuri Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willian da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Willian da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Sanches's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião de Amaral in the 87th minute of play. After 92 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Prata. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
