Gustavo Berger made a great header on Pragmáticos 1903's corner, it was just that Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. After 10 played minutes Juventudes Libertárias got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Silveira. Ismael de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pragmáticos 1903's zone, Diamantino Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Queiroz came out of the goal and Diamantino Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Gustavo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Gustavo in the 25th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Davi Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Meirelles came free, but Ismael de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the game, Luizão Marquez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Zurawski during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Abud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Davi Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Abud in the 52nd minute of the match. Juventudes Libertárias's Alexandre Zurawski got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juventudes Libertárias's Davi Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Abud in the 65th minute of play. Douglas Gustavo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Davi Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Abud's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Davi Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Abud in the 71st minute of play. Vito Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Davi Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Silveira made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alexandre Zurawski. Davi Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Abud in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Gustavo Abud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pragmáticos 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Gustavo Abud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Abud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pragmáticos 1903 could leave the field as winners, despite Juventudes Libertárias having more of the ball for most of the match.
