Falcão Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Falcão Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton de Amaral in the 7th minute of the match. Falcão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton de Amaral in the 7th minute of play. Hélder dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Queluzito were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after LauerArmy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Percy Cabral took the corner. After taking down the ball on Queluzito's corner Percy Cabral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Falcão Cabral quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Reis to maneuver through the defense. Guga Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Rodrigues having to interfere. Falcão Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomé Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues got control of the ball when Romeu Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Percy Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Percy Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Aírton de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Aírton de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder dos Santos in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Queluzito were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nando Lima to make the kick off. LauerArmy's Hélder dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Freire in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Cabral. In the 56th minute, Nando Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Queluzito made a substitution. Felippe Fonseca replaced Jano Mineiro. 61 minutes into the match, Queluzito's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Jardel came free, but Paulo José Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nando Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Cabral was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Romeu Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo José Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeu Prado to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Percy Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Cabral skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton de Amaral got free with Falcão Cabral in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Roger Vargas put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Queluzito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LauerArmy:s goal. Falcão Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tomé Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Falcão Cabral made a huge save.
