Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cacá de Lara started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute of the match Tiaguinho de Lara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Baiano skillfully saved the ball. Zé Carlos Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Jorginho Munhoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manfredo Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorginho Munhoz's late challenge caught a LOBO 1908's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Jorginho Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Remo Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LOBO 1908's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Cacá de Lara scored to the left of an out of position Manfredo Silveira, making the score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Cacá de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Manfredo Silveira to make any attempt to save it. Manfredo Silveira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lobo Guará's Gustavo Nunes. But to his dismay, Gustavo Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 36th minute of the match Lobo Guará got a corner. LOBO 1908's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Martins ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christian Ramalho tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Manfredo Silveira. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 36th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Cacá de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobo Guará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Cearense in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Rosado was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Guerra. After 55 minutes, Jorginho Munhoz made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. LOBO 1908's Manfredo Silveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Claudinei Tande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Manfredo Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manfredo Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Munhoz in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when LOBO 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Silveira having to interfere. Manfredo Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Linhares hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lobo Guará's João Augusto Salgado was substituted for Giovanni Sergipano. A collision led to LOBO 1908 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ronaldo Linhares hit a great ball. When Gustavo Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lobo Guará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Nunes couldn't finish the play. If Claudinei Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LOBO 1908 booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Lobo Guará's Roberto Baiano got control of the ball when Cipriano Rosado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manfredo Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Lobo Guará's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
