Cássio Baptista came out of the goal and Aurelio Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qiao Jian Ping hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Parente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Távora in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jarana FC's zone, Aldo Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Distiratsu came out of the goal and Aldo Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Távora came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Aurelio Harriet made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Baptista. Terceirense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Terceirense F.C.'s Cássio Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Cai in the 32nd minute of play. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Távora in the 41st minute. Tadeo Distiratsu was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Gabriel Távora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Távora really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Távora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Cai during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Amadeo Cai got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Gitano got free with Cássio Baptista in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Cai hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Távora, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sigve Rossland's late challenge caught a Terceirense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigve Rossland helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Távora in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Distiratsu saved Jarana FC from getting behind. Aurelio Harriet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Baptista having to make a save. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Romário Fontes replaced Gustavo Amorim. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Anselmo Baldaia replaced Gabriel Távora. In the 78th minute, Anselmo Baldaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Wilfredo Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Cássio Baptista made a huge save. Amadeo Cai might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Cai ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Distiratsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Terceirense F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jarana FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
