Hector Casse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikola Krstović in the 15th minute of play. Ediz Türk hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Guillermo Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Gol made a kick off. After some careless play in the Säfvahöjden defense, Nikola Krstović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Casse. The Säfvahöjden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Casse should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Dávid Strelec fired away a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Casse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Casse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dávid Strelec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Säfvahöjden's Pan Yan Rong was substituted for Ataulfo Diosdado. Ataulfo Diosdado kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AFK Petržalka's zone, Best Bro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Hrdina came out of the goal and Best Bro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Hrdina came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Säfvahöjden's Chris Gol. But to his dismay, Chris Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Strelec didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 85th minute of play. Nikola Krstović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Hector Casse made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Best Bro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Hrdina was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. After 92 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Roman Fujarczuk. In the 95th minute of the match Säfvahöjden got a corner. AFK Petržalka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nolberto Solano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Best Bro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

The AFK Petržalka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
