The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes SAPI FC got a freekick which was hit by Hesky Latuihamalo. SAPI FC's Anak Habib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Xiang Zhou in the 6th minute of play. Bawang Merah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogério Soberano having to make a save. Anak Habib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Senna in the 10th minute of play. Thiago Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anak Habib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Senna in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Bawang Merah notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CA Portugália's Rogério Soberano. Rogério Soberano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bawang Merah might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Soberano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bawang Merah ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bawang Merah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CA Portugália players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAPI FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Senna to make the kick off. CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hesky Latuihamalo in the 51 minute of the game. SAPI FC's Daffa Sopandi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Norbert Tamulewicz in the 57 minute of the game. Bawang Merah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Soberano having to interfere. After some careless play in the SAPI FC defense, Carlos Fernando dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anak Habib. The SAPI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anak Habib should have stopped the shot. CA Portugália made a substitution. Barry Gunn replaced Thiago Senna. Anak Habib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Gunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Joel Jegouzo made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral. Anak Habib came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by CA Portugália's Barry Gunn. But to his dismay, Barry Gunn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fernandinho Barral hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.

CA Portugália's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
