If Maciej Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhu Bin Kun in the 14th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Palacios in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 许夕昆 in the 18th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Salgado in the 19th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Eulalio Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Marchlewicz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kang Fan Xiang got free with Eulalio Bastian in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eulalio Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 许夕昆 in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Almir Salgado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eulalio Bastian. The goal made the score 1-0. Baldomero Rufo lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Baldomero Rufo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Klement Lech replaced Rodrigo Palacios. Baldomero Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Guilherme Vianna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Mandiyu's Adrián Guillermo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Vila Zumbi's zone, Zhu Bin Kun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Beninda came out of the goal and Zhu Bin Kun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoni Beninda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhu Bin Kun in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian got control of the ball when Kang Fan Xiang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigel Tofan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Pipis Vattimos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Marchlewicz was the one to do the kick off. Almir Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klement Lech kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Almir Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vila Zumbi! In the 71st minute, Zhu Bin Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Beninda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Roberto Cherro replaced Zhu Bin Kun. Deportivo Mandiyu's Rayan MacQueen was substituted for Bonifacio Mikelar. Kang Fan Xiang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eulalio Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vila Zumbi defense, Roberto Cherro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Beninda. The Vila Zumbi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Beninda should have stopped the shot. Kang Fan Xiang took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Bastian. Eulalio Bastian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Mandiyu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vila Zumbi.
