Algot Myr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias de Ruijter in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Huub Gerrits came free, but Algot Myr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Szymon Pilitowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Mathias de Ruijter scored to the left of an out of position Algot Myr, making the score, 1-1. Algot Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the De Pelgrims defense, Inko Colillas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Zoetmulder. The wind increased when Perivaldo Eger made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Perivaldo Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Myr was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the game, Aleksander Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Kent Kilberg scored to the left of an out of position Mike Zoetmulder, making the score, 1-3. 70 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Kent Kilberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Zoetmulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
