Weather Piedrahita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Cabral's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cabral in the 14th minute of play. Murilo Cabral took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Weather Piedrahita. Weather Piedrahita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th minute Arí Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yani Shtonov to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Herbella came free, but Dida Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Arí Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Weather Piedrahita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Cabral came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Maturrango's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Cabral in the 29th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Ybarbos short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Dida Nascimento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Weather Piedrahita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The LauerArmy fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when LauerArmy's Murilo Cabral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cabral in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when LauerArmy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Cabral to make the kick off. Dida Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Zuazna, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Herbella in the 55th minute of play. Weather Piedrahita made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Murilo Cabral sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Cabral. When Atletico Maturrango's Primo Valcarcel in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dida Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xizavier Varona in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Zuazna came free, but Dida Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arí Pereira in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weather Piedrahita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hitzeder Serans in the 74th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Zuazna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Kock got free with Weather Piedrahita in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. If William Kock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LauerArmy's Franklin Alvarenga was substituted for Frédson de Almeida.
