With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Davis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geovânio Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Ramalho scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Davis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ramalho came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 31st minute of play forced Holy Cross Mountains's goalkeeper Guy Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Holy Cross Mountains getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Franz Stonehouse hit a great ball. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Doron Bantz hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Doron Bantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Davis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Holy Cross Mountains's Emanuel Stroescu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Holy Cross Mountains's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Eusebio Hori scored to the left of an out of position Guy Davis, making the score, 0-2. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Holy Cross Mountains from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guy Davis. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. Holy Cross Mountains's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Eusebio Hori scored to the left of an out of position Guy Davis, making the score, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Ricart Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holy Cross Mountains.
