Thanks to some nice moves He Di Quan could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Jan Schulz however easily saved by the left post. After 11 played minutes FC Hollywood got a freekick which was hit by Björn Klöting. FC Hollywood's Jan Schulz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hollywood from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Björn Klöting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bruno Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Schulz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Bondel in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Iwanowski came free, but Jan Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Hollywood's Jan Schulz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hollywood from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Huracán Varsovia defense, Helmut Berrisch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Hermes. The Huracán Varsovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Hermes should have stopped the shot. Jan Schulz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Bondel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Huracán Varsovia's Igor Iwanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Schulz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Di Quan got free with Jan Schulz in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Helmut Berrisch to make the kick off. He Di Quan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Bondel came free, but Jan Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes FC Hollywood's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustaw Kasprzykowski who took care of the corner kick. Huracán Varsovia's Gustaw Kasprzykowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan Schulz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Huracán Varsovia's Jacek Bondel in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Hollywood's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Jacek Bondel put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Schulz. In the 61st minute He Di Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Schulz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Di Quan in the 65th minute of play. Jan Schulz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a little luck, Huracán Varsovia's Bruno Hermes got control of the ball when Björn Klöting tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Klöting. Norman Jagusch charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Jagusch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes, Huracán Varsovia's Igor Linetty shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Schulz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huracán Varsovia reached it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Huracán Varsovia had played much better football throughout.
