In the 4th minute Jiang De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Schulz made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jiang De sent off a good shot on target. Jiang De's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Schulz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Hollywood's goalkeeper Jan Schulz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Hollywood's Jan Schulz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang De in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang De got free with Jan Schulz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Higino Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sebastian Luchtenberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when FC Hollywood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Jagusch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiang De could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jan Schulz made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, FC Hollywood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Rothschild to maneuver through the defense. It was a well-played corner which Tony Påk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jan Schulz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hollywood's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Jiang De scored to the left of an out of position Jan Schulz, making the score, 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Jiang De got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helmut Berrisch made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Jiang De managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremio Viana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiang De was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hollywood's zone, Jiang De stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Schulz came out of the goal and Jiang De tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC Hollywood defense, Jiang De kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Schulz. The FC Hollywood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Schulz should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Påk came free, but Jan Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Norman Jagusch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hollywood's zone, Tony Påk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Schulz came out of the goal and Tony Påk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Antonio Calisto replaced Tony Påk. In the 75th minute, Peter Nacht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Luna in the 79th minute of play forced FC Hollywood's goalkeeper Jan Schulz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederik Schilling made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benjamin Koppers however managed to control. When Antonio Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gremio Viana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Calisto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Hollywood getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sebastian Luchtenberg hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Carlos Luna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Viana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
